UK Road Trip: Ireland

After we toured southwest England, we packed back up and headed for our next country: Ireland! Our ferry left from Wales so I am able to cross that country off my list too. On our drive through Wales, we stopped at Laura's university in Swansea.

Land-ho!

After making it safely crossing the Irish Sea, we had a four hour drive to our first destination in Ireland: Killarney.

Great team work

Killarney is a quaint, yet touristy, town in southwest Ireland that is full of natural beauty. We lucked out with the weather and it was sunny the whole day which made it perfect for hiking around the national park.

After spending two nights in Killarney, it was time to head to our next stop, Dublin. On our four hour drive to Ireland's capital city, we stopped in Limerick for a quick tour and a bite to eat.

After a beautiful drive through Irish country side, we finally made it to Dublin. Before checking into the bed and breakfast, we had to make an important stop at the Guinness Factory before it closed for the day.

Our first full day in Dublin began with burritos, so Irish right? Our lovely, little Brit, Laura had never eaten a burrito so we had to document this major-life experience. After we devoured our burritos, we did a walking tour of the city. We stopped at various cathedrals and parks for photo opps.
