A Jewish Dinner

Hanukkah started last week and Leslie wanted to teach us how to eat like a Jew. She made a traditional Jewish dinner and it was awesome! She made chicken, spinach pie, latkas, challah bread and banana bread. We ate it all.

We have also embarked on a new adventure that officially began today. We are creating a new blog entitled "Eating Avignon." The goal of this blog is to try every boulangerie in the intra-muros of Avignon. We divided the city into quadrants and marked each place on a map. We are going to be trying two different boulangeries twice a week. We each are responsable for a different food category: Leslie - quiche and unique pastries, Laura - croque monsieurs and pain au raisin, Hannah - assorted chocolate sweets and me - tartes! We rate the boulangerie according to 4 different categories which are based on a 5-star rating. The 4 categories are: presentation, smell, selection and taste. Today, I tried a tarte citron (similar to a lemon meringue pie) and it was delightful, I gave it 3 stars.

I will be adding the link to our new blog ASAP!
